Krishna Dutta, Ashraful Wadud, and Md Ariful Hasan - we, three people, have been living in three different places but studying together with our Nepalese friends at Kathmandu University School of Education for nearly 2 years. Due to the COVID-19 situation, it was not so easy to meet together. However, It's a blessing that we have never felt disconnected and are continuing our studies. Continuing the journey, we have just conducted a two-day teachers' training, 'Social Congruence for Teachers' from June 10, 2022, 7:30am to June 11, 2022, 4:30pm at Muhibur Rahman Academy in Sylhet, Bangladesh. After multiple observations and surveying in different institutions in Bangladesh, we chose 6 other areas to conduct sessions in two days. Alhamdulillah, everything went well. We are hopeful to do better in the future.
Thanks to Hon'ble Bal Chandra Luitel, Hem R Kafle, Laxman Gnawali, Rtn Mohammed Shams Uddin, DN Joshi, Pranab Kanti Deb, Abu Nasar Muhammad Sufian, Gateselta BD, and skillUP Centre for supporting us in this event from home and abroad.
It was a new experience for me to connect with the Bangladeshi school and college English teachers as a teachers' trainer. I am thankful to the bright participants, and I didn't know that some of you are already on the Facebook friend list. I hope you forgive us if we made any mistakes during the training. I hope the follow-up sharing and feedback will bring a better result to the program.
There is no doubt that Sylheti people are hospitable. Special thanks to Ashraful Wadud for his tremendous support and patience.
